Skin Needling
Respecting the integrity of the epidermis and dermis, eDermaStamp® uses fast, atraumatic (non-traumatic) perforations to gently trigger the generation of new tissue, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin through the skins natural healing process.
Using vertical penetration, skin needling will create micro-wounds that seal within minutes of treatment to promote skin rejuvenation that will continue for moths after treatments are performed. Micro-channels are created within the skin and used to infuse hyaluronic acid deep into the skin to boost hydration.
Skin needling does not use heat or ablative energy, meaning that treatments can be performed on any skin colour (unlike laser or IPL).
Multiple treatments may be required ( usually 4-6 ) depending on the skin condition and desired outcomes. Treatments are performed 4-12 weeks apart.

Prior to any needling treatment your skin must be prepped for at least 4 weeks, often more. Part of this prep is using corneotherapy based products which do not contain any nasties (preservatives, emulsifiers, mineral oils, fragrances). While all of this will be discussed in your initial consultation, basic 4 week skin prep packs are available including cleanser, skin tonic, moisturiser and vitamin mask. During this time your skin will purge the build up of preservatives and emulsifiers from the skin. This will usually take around 4 weeks, however some skins (especially those dealing with inflammatory skin conditions) may take longer and therefore need extra products.

Skin correction is a slow process. There is no quick fix. It takes a slow, combined effort of bespoke at home skin care and customized clinical treatments. I follow very strict protocols and require you to do the same so that together we can achieve the best results possible. If you consistently put the time and effort into your skin, it will reward you. Collagen Induction Therapy requires at least 6 weeks skin prep as getting your skin ready for needling is vital to the outcome of your treatment. Skin that is not ready, or cells that are not in optimal health, will not respond in the same way as skin that has been prepped to be in its ideal health, pre-treatment. Because of this a pre treatment consultation is absolutely necessary.
Online bookings are only available for CIT consultations. Treatment sessions must be booked through the salon to ensure that it is only performed when your skin is ready.
